It is with great sadness that I have to inform members that Ted Goodyear, the bailiff at Smith’s Pond (Eastleigh &District Angling Club) has passed away. Anyone who fished Smith’s Pond will have fond memories of Ted and his faithful German Shepherd, Rocky, turning out in all weathers to meet us at the gates. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts go out to his family and friends. Derek Wood
